A Thankful Thanksgiving!

Thanks to the arrival of little Abigail, this Thanksgiving was especially thankful for our family. Although, she was only 5 days old we made the drive down to San Diego to celebrate at my sister's house. Everyone kept saying, "Oh, you should just stay home" I seriously can't imagine spending Thanksgiving anywhere else. Since Jason and I have been married we have spent all but one year there and it is simply perfect. The food is perfect, the decor is perfect and of course the company is the best. Since my mom was with us this year, she came as well, making it even more special. And of course I didn't take any pictures...except for a picture of the table. My niece decorates the table every year and does an amazing job!!

Our New Addition

On November 19, 2011 Abigail Jane Polson joined our little family. Everything went smoothly with the c-section and at 1:45 p.m she was born weighing in at 8lbs 1 oz and 21 inches long. She shocked us right away by, first of all, having hair but secondly it was dark. Not something we would have ever expected. And I'm sure you're looking at the pictures right now, thinking "that's not dark" but for our little family that's nothing short of a miracle. Lauren didn't even have any hair until she was about 2. The girls were super excited about their little sister, although hesitant about the whole hospital thing. I realized I failed to prepare them about mommy being in the hospital. Emily seemed to struggle with that the first day. She just kept asking why I couldn't get out of bed and saying she wanted to go home. Oversight on my part. Abigail has been a wonderful baby since the day she was born. At about 3 weeks she was sleeping through the night, just waking for 1 feeding and going back to bed. I kept waiting for that to end but she's proven to be a gem. Her sisters love, love her...sometimes a bit too much.

Happy Halloween

My cute little girls took mercy on their super pregnant mom this Halloween and decided that they wanted to be Minnie Mouse and Tinkerbell for Halloween (p.s the same thing they were the year before.) Being in my condition, I obliged. But what made it super cool was that their friends, who are brothers and the same ages as my girls, just so happened to be Mickey and Peter Pan. It couldn't have been better if we had planned it ourselves. Both sets of kids were in classes together so they got to show of their costumes at school. As usual, the weather was hot in L.A but we still had a great time at the Trunk or Treat.

Hacked!

As most of you know, (because you got the crazy email) our email was hacked back in November. Since Blogger is connected to gmail, that means when the hackers changed our password, I lost access to me blog. Super sad. Although I can still view it, I can't get in to make any changes or add posts to it. So yes, it has taken me this long to put together a new blog. To put it lightly, we've had a crazy last few months but that's all the more reason to get it put on a blog since it's my only form of scrapbooking. So..we are now starting over and although it's April I am going back to update from the time we lost our other blog (for posterity sake.)
